is a HOTSPOT?
A HOTSPOT is a venue where there is high speed wireless access. Usually,
the service has a fee and the user must go through a registration or authentication
process. The registration requires a user ID and passcode. The service
and the fees vary from location to location. HotSpot traditionally are
public venues such as Hotels, Restaurants, Cafeterias, Bars, Airport,
Bus/Train Terminals, Marinas, Hospitals, Shopping Centers, etc. 
Who
is HOTSPOT International
HOTSPOT Internationalis a provider of high speed access in public
venues. We enable locations for high speed wireless connectivity. Our
service entails installing all necessary equipment to provide the public
venue with wireless connectivity using WiFi 802.11 technology. Once the
equipment is installed the location becomes a HOTSPOT. In order to gain
access, they user must register. There is usually a charge for connecting
to the service.

What
is SSID?
The SSID is the name that is assigned
to the Access Point you are connecting to. In newer systems it will be
displayed automatically. Look for a sign that indicates the name (SSID)
or ask someone at the location. 
Can
I use my VPN with the HOTSPOT International service?
Yes, although we have found some instances where access with a certain
VPN was limited. Please advise us if you have problems.
